Odie's Fund

Odie's Fund, a component of the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, supports dog rescue efforts in the United States.

Odie's Fund was founded by Simone Rones and Greg Rones in memory of their basset hound Odie, who passed away in 2005. Odie was an exuberant boy who charmed everyone he met. His mischievous smile, his boundless energy, and his excited way of waddling down the street caused all passers-by to stop and say hello. He loved every child he encountered, and he doted on his younger adopted basset sister Penny, whom he absolutely adored. Odie was a special angel and a true blessing to his whole family.
